Northeastern Realty is a full-service virtual real estate brokerage firm that combines real estate services and Remote Online Notary (RON) technology to sell homes faster and save consumers and clients thousands of dollars.
We make life simple for your signings. You simply use the internet to connect with one of our notaries and are able to complete the signing completely online.
Our clients include title and escrow companies, financial institutions, mortgage brokers, real estate agents, attorneys, and other organizations that use the services of a remote notary public.
Here's How It Works
“We are not an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Florida, and we may not give legal advice or accept fees for legal advice.”
If you are signing documents remotely, please ensure that you meet the following credentials:
FOR US AND DUAL CITIZENS
* You are a United States Citizen.
* You are over the age of 18.
* You have a social security number.
* You have a valid Driver License or Identification Card issued by U.S., Canada, or Mexico, or Passport stamped by the United States Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services.
* If you DO NOT speak English, a duplicate document must be provided in your native language and a translator must be present for the remote signing (virtually or in-person).
* You have at least 5 years of credit history.
* You have a United States phone number.
* You have access to a Computer, Tablet or Smart Phone with audio and video capabilities along with internet access.
* You are of sound mind, alert, and mentally competent at the time of signing.
* Additional requirements may apply based on the documents being signed.
If you meet all of the above credentials, then LET’S GET STARTED with these simple steps:
1. Upload your documents
Upload your document(s) and verify your identity. You verify your identity using knowledge-based authentication, which offers you a series of specific questions that only you can answer. Once your ID has been verified, your identity is further validated using a government-issued photo ID.
2. Confirm your ID
You are then connected with a commissioned notary public via live audio-video call. The notary public re-confirms your identity visually using the scanned photo ID, and then witnesses as you electronically sign the document. For greater security, our notary then completes the electronic notarization process using digital tools.
3. Connect with a notary
Once complete, you will receive detailed instructions to access your notarized document online and can deliver it or send it electronically to whomever you would like.
Our notary signing agents are allowed to notarize any real estate transfer document, so long as we do not have a financial interest in it. Florida law requires that the grantor must sign the deed in the presence of two witnesses and a notary public. The witnesses must also sign in the presence of the notary.
Our notary signing agents are allowed to notarize any loan document, so long as we do not have a financial interest in it. These forms (i.e. Mortgage, Note, Flood Notice, Insurance Notice, Closing Disclosure, Loan Estimate, Same Name Affidavit, IRS Forms, Real Estate Disclosure, etc.) need to be notarized to verify the identity of the signer and ensure that the signer understands and acknowledges the contents of the form in front of a trusted, third-party (the notary).
Power of Attorney
A caregiver contract — also called a personal care agreement — ensures all family members are on the same page when it comes to elder care responsibilities. It’s a written contract that’s notarized and signed by all parties.
Our notary signing agents are allowed to notarize any immigration document, so long as we do not have a financial interest in it. We can walk through the set of immigration forms (i.e. I-864, I-864A, I-134 , etc.) that need to be notarized to verify the identity of the signer and ensure the signer understands and acknowledges the contents of the form in front of a trusted, third-party (the notary).
We have a professionally licensed notary public on staff ready to help you get your business and personal documents notarized quickly and efficiently. Our notary signing agent is experienced in notarizing wills, trusts, deeds, contracts, affidavits and more.
